Official Visit to the University Data Management Centre at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia

An official delegation from Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) has visit the University Data Management Centre at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), Skudai campus in Johor on January 24, 2024.
The Data Management & Analytics Centre (DMAC) under the Department of Knowledge Management and Information Technology (JPPTM) at UMPSA, led by Director Associate Professor Dr. Noryanti Muhammad and Deputy Director Dr. Abdullah Fairuzullah Ahmad Tajuddin, has been established to manage UMPSA's data, in participate the visit is also Mr. Irman Khalil from JPPTM. The delegation aims to gain insights from UTM's long-established University Data Management Centre as a model for best practices.
During the visit, the team has been welcomed by En. Md Razib Karno, Director of UTM’s Data Management Centre. The focus is on understanding the centre’s development processes, systems, operations, budget, and structure. UMPSA hopes to leverage these insights to enhance the capabilities of DMAC and improve its data management practices.
This visit symbolizes growing collaboration between UMPSA and UTM in data management and information technology, fostering opportunities for future knowledge exchange and partnership.
